The Philly Metro team will hold tryouts for the 2014 Keystone State Games Lacrosse Tournament will be held on Monday, June 16th and Tuesday, June 17th from 6-8 p.m. at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center at 4200 Wissahickon Ave.
Players are expected to attend both sessions and anyone trying out MUST attend at least one session.
In order to be eligible for the team you must either live or go to school in Philadelphia and be finishing 9th through 11th grade right now. Graduating seniors are not eligible to play. The total cost per player will be the same as last year, $375. This cost includes everything associated with the tournament (registration fee, uniform, transportation and lodging) except meals. We will provide a sponsor letter and form that players can use to seek donations to cover part or all of the cost that each player will be responsible for.
The Keystone State games will be held on Penn State University’s Main Campus in State College on Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th. The Philly Metro team will travel up to State College on Friday, July 25th, departing from Philadelphia at approximately noon and returning at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27th.
