The BucksMont North Stars opened up their 2014 fall season by winning the 2019 division at the Brandywine Classic with a 10-3 win over the Roughriders Elite in the finals last weekend at the Brandywine Polo Grounds.

The North Stars outscored their opponents 54-7 in five games. Goalies Zach May and Christian Suter split time over the tourney and pitched two games of shutout ball with great contributions from the rest of the North Stars’ stingy defense.

Attackman Ryan (Rhino) Stout led the offense with 17 goals and middie Grant Pinto and attackmen Logan Lazasz each had eight goals. Bill Rossman led the team by winning the 50/50 ground ball contest by plucking six off the turf. The North Stars will next travel to Maryland to compete in the Madlax Fallfest on November 2.
