Central League champion Penncrest earned the top seed and one of three first-round byes in the District 1 boys’ tournament. Other teams receiving byes were Bishop Shanahan (No. 2) and Central League runner-up Radnor (No. 3).
First-round games will be held Tuesday; second-round games are Thursday (high seed is host in first two rounds). The quarterfinals are Saturday, May 17 at neutral sites. The top five teams will advance to the PIAA championships.
