Liam Hare log:

Graduation Year: 2016
Position: Defense
College Choice: Jacksonville University
Club Affiliation: Mesa Fresh
Lacrosse Honors: Dicks TOC Champ, Tri-State National Lacrosse Tournament Champ, Adrenaline Black Card Showcase, MVP at UDel Champ, 1st Team All PAC-10, 1st Team All-Area
What will you major in/study? Biology
Why did you choose Jacksonville? “After visiting Jacksonville I knew it was a perfect fit for me. I loved the campus and being 10 minutes from the beach is a definite positive. Also, after meeting Coaches (Guy) Van Arsdale, (Alex) Lopes, and (Jacob) Baxter, I knew I wanted to be a part of the lacrosse program and big things to come in the schools future. The lacrosse program and university are making leaps and bounds towards becoming a top school and lacrosse program and I’m excited to join in on that.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “After winning our fourth straight PAC-10 title last year, we are looking to win another conference title and advance farther into districts. We are a young but very talented team that graduated a few key roles, which we hope will be filled by some younger guys. This year we really want to dominate our conference and make a run deep into state playoffs.”
Other comments: “I would like to first thank my Mesa Fresh coaches, Dave Sowers, Brian Wall, Dave Brumbaugh, and Adam Mueller in particular for helping me throughout the recruiting process and also helping to develop my game which is allowing me the opportunity to play in college.
“Next I’d like to thank my high school coaches Kevin Donnelly, Kevin Czapor, Dan Monzo, and Bryan Capone for helping me grow as a player so I may play at the next level.
“I’d also like to thank all of the people involved with the Collegeville Cougars youth program for growing my love of the game.
“Lastly I’d like to thank my family and friends, my parents especially, for guiding me through the process and taking the time out of there day to get me to each practice and game, and for always supporting me.”
