Garnet Valley High School 2016 midfield-defender Michelle Koscinski has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Temple University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Temple? “Temple was a perfect fit for me because it’s close to home, has great academics and has an amazing lacrosse program. The coaches, Bonnie Rosen, Jennifer Wong, and Molly Fernandez, made me feel comfortable during the whole recruiting process. I’ve always loved Temple and now playing for them fulfills my dreams. I can’t wait to be an Owl!”
Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “I’m honored to be playing with these girls. I am looking forward to winning another championship and showing everyone what we’re made of!”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my parents who spend countless hours at lacrosse tournaments just to support me, and my brothers, John and Jimmy, for making me be a tough girl and pushing me to become a better lacrosse player.
“I’d like to thank my sister, Missy who plays at Old Dominion University, especially because she has helped me with absolutely everything there is and made me into the lacrosse player I am today.
“Thank you to my grandparents for cheering me on and always supporting me in my decisions. I’d like to thank them for all their love and support.
“My coaches Jenny Purvis who has pushed me to be better during the school season and for her support in this process.
“I want to especially thank Christyann Morello for helping me numerous times throughout the recruiting process. I would have never been able to do any of this without you. You’ve taught me everything I know and I would have never been able to push myself as much as I thought I could. I can’t thank you enough.
“Lastly, I would like to give a huge thank you to my teammates. I would have never been able to do any of this without you guys. I also can’t wait to play with my current teammate Kara Nakrasius who committed a few months ago.”
