Morgan Glassford (four goals) scored the game-winner with 1:29 to play as visiting Strath Haven toppled Conestoga, 12-11, in a key Central League girls’ lacrosse game tonight.
The win lifted the Panthers (10-1 overall) to 6-1 in the league, tied for first place with Harriton and Springfield-Delco. Conestoga fell to 5-2 (9-2 overall).
Kirsten Wilhelmsen added three goals for the Panthers.
Meghan McGillis led the Pioneers with four goals and tallied her 200th and 201st career goal.
Episcopal Academy 16, Notre Dame 15
Taryn Gallagher had four goals and three assists while Kristen Hinckley added four goals and one assist to power EA (7-2, 6-0) to an Inter-Ac thriller over Notre Dame in a battle of last year’s co-champions.
Delaney Tuite pumped in seven goals and Nora McCallion had three goals and five assists for Notre Dame.
Germantown Academy 10, Agnes Irwin 9
Hanna Bogorowski scored four goals, Allie Cannon had three goals and an assist and Allie Carrigan posted 21 saves for GA in the tense Inter-Ac win.
