Owen Blye (Downingtown East) and Bradlee Lord (Conestoga) each had a goal and an assist while Goran Murray (Haverford School), Casey Ikeda (Conestoga) and goalie Niko Amato (La Salle) handled the defense as No. 1 Maryland routed host Duke, 16-7, Saturday in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s college lacrosse game.

A national TV audience got to see the Terps (4-0, 1-0) dominate again as they have all year. Duke, No. 19, fell to 2-4 and 0-1 and will probably be out of the rankings for the first time in years.

Ikeda had two GBs and two CTs while Amato made eight saves and Murray helped hold down Duke’s Jordan Wolf (Lower Merion) to two assists. Billy Conners (Malvern Prep) had two GBs for Duke on defense.

Liam O’Connor (Haverford School) won 17 of 25 face-offs, had nine GBs and one assist to help the Irish remain undefeated with a second straight dramatic OT win.

Joey Sankey (Penn Charter) had two goals, an assist and two GBs while Steve Pontrello (St. Augustine Prep) had two goals and LSM Ryan Kilpatrick (Salesianum) had three GBs for the Tar Heels.

Colin Keegan (Springfield-Delco) pumped in five goals and DEF Joe Addona (Springfield-Delco) grabbed two GBs to lead the Red Storm (3-1).

Brown 9, UMass 8, OT

Henry Blynn (Haverford School) had a goal, an assist, four GBs and a CT as Brown stunned UMass.

Marquette 8, Air Force 6

Blaine Fleming (St. Joseph’s Prep) scored once and Dan Mojica (Springfield-Delco) had one GB and one CT as Marquette won its first game as a D1 program.

Keith Dreyer (Malvern Prep) had two assists and two GBs for Air Force.

Towson 13, Mount St. Mary’s 5

Matt Hughes (Central Bucks East) scored once and Zack Gregory (Conestoga) won 9 of 19 Face-offs for the Tigers.

Dan Stranix (Ridley) had a goal and two GBs while DEF Shane Pierce (La Salle) had four GBs for the Mount.

Loyola 8, Bellarmine 6

Nikko Pontrello (St. Augustine Prep) had one goal, one assist and two GBs while Chris Layne (Malvern Prep) scored once for the Greyhounds.

Bellarmine got four GBs and a CT from defenseman Michael Bender (Emmaus).

Vermont 6, Bryant 5, OT

Ahmad Zachary (Lower Merion) scored once for Vermont. LSM Mason Poli (Downingtown East) had a goal, a GB and a CT while DEF Connor Dent (St. Joseph’s Prep) had three GBs and two CTs for Bryant.

Jacksonville 9, High Point 8

Jimmy Trentini (Upper Dublin) had two goals, two assists and three GBs, Pete DeLuca (Penn Manor) had 13 saves and Quint Miller (Manheim Township) scored once for Jacksonville.

DEF Pat Farrell (St. Joseph’s Prep) had two CTs for High Point.

Georgetown 10, Dartmouth 9

Tyler Knarr (La Salle) won 7 of 14 face-offs and grabbed five GBs and Billy Flatley (Conestoga) had a goals and two GBs to lead the Hoyas.

Middie Patrick Resch (La Salle) had four GBs and one CT for Dartmouth.

Binghamton 6, Hobart 2

Hobart goalie Peter Zonino (Conestoga) was sensational with 17 saves in defeat.

Hofstra 10, Harvard 5

Defenseman Mark Mullen (Germantown Academy) had three GBs to lead the Pride to the victory.
