St. Joseph’s Prep rising senior attack-midfielder Scott Scheuerle has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

What Will you major in/Study? Undecided
Why did you choose St. Joe’s? “St. Joe’s felt like the best fit for me academically and athletically. I like that it is close to home and in the city of Philadelphia. Coach (Taylor) Wray and his staff are doing great things and I can’t wait to be a part of their program. I also can’t wait to play with former Prep grads Will Farrell, Rob Watts, Pat Swanick and Tyler Cligget.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “We lost a lot of seniors but will be very strong next year with returning players and some young talent that will play a big role.”
Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my parents, Coach Gregg and the rest of the SJP lacrosse staff for helping me to develop as a person and player. Coach Kupp and the NXT staff have been tremendous club team coaches. I can’t wait to play with Brendan McNicholas, a NXT teammate and fellow SJU commit.”
