The Covenant School (VA) junior midfielder Drew Gaffney has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose St. Joe’s? “I am impressed with the vision of the coaching staff, and I want to be apart of a team on the rise. SJU has a great combination of faith, academics, and athletics.

“I believe Coach Wray and his staff will make SJU a fixture in the NCAA tournament.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “After losing in the State Semi’s, we are focusing our attention to returning and bringing home the title.”

Additional Comments: “I want to thank my parents for driving me up and down the east coast to tournaments and camps. Also, I would like to thank my Covenant coaches Mike Gardiner, and Bo Carrington for helping me through the recruiting process.
