Souderton senior defenseman Hunter McGowan has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

What will you major in/study: Biomedical Engineering

Why did you choose school: “I chose Widener University because of the nationally accredited engineering program and for the competitive lacrosse program led by a talented coaching staff. I continued to be impressed with Coach (Brendan) Dawson throughout the recruiting process, and the direction that the lacrosse program is going under his leadership.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We have a very strong group of returning seniors this year as well as some talented underclassmen. With positivity, and good leadership in our coaching staff, I know that we will improve our record and standings within our league/schedule.”
