Morristown-Beard School (NJ) junior goalie Matt Sefcik has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Wagner College.

What will you major in/study? Psychology/Social Sciences

Why did you choose Wagner? “After visiting Wagner and doing my overnight I left the campus with a really good feeling about the school, team, and coaching staff. I realized that Wagner was going to offer me a great education, great location (being close to the city, and to my hometown), and Division I lacrosse.”

What is your team’s outlook for next season? “My High School’s team has been building since my freshman year. Now with the majority of the team being juniors, we are looking to win our Conference, Prep Division, and our State bracket.”

Other comments: “I want to thank my parents for all the support they showed me through the whole process, whether it was by driving me to tournaments, or giving me guidance. I also want to thank my club coaches Joe Levine and Dave Gallucci, and my High School coach Sal Tromonda. Thank you to all of my friends and family who have supported me.”
