Calling all midfielders who face-off or want to face-off for their respective teams in the Spring:

As a midfielder who enjoys facing off, are you tired of going to practices where they only work on face-offs for a short amount of time?

Do you feel like you should be more prepared to face-off going into your Spring season?PFL

Are you looking for more experienced people to practice face-offs with?

Tired of beating up your same old backup and calling it practice?

The Philadelphia Face-Off League is proud to announce a 5-week faceoff clinic at Maple Zone Sports Institute in Garnet Valley, PA where starting face-off players for their respective high school or club teams can meet once a week to not only practice their skills against each other, but receive coaching as well.

In order to be a part of the league you must have at least ONE year of experience facing-off at a high level for your varsity or club team. This league is not for beginners! This is an IDEAL clinic for face-off guys who want to just show up and face-off against some quality opponents for 90 minutes.

After receiving a thorough warm up for about 10-15 minutes, players in the league will be constantly going “live” against each other in a fun round robin style format. The new rules and regulations for face-offs will be strictly enforced throughout the session. At the end of every session a King of the X will be held to see who has the hot hand that day!

Players in the league should already be able to demonstrate the proper faceoff stance and body language in order to compete. This is a great way to come out and gain amazing experience against local high school players who will all be facing off for their varsity teams in the Spring.

The Philadelphia Face-Off League is run by John Bodnar (Episcopal Academy, NXT Lacrosse) and Mike Dolente (Cabrini College, Dukes). They both have an extensive background in working with some of the best face-off guys in the area and are asking for more guys to compete.

The only way a face-off guy gets better is when they are constantly getting reps against guys who are just as fast and quick as they are! Take advantage of this opportunity and sign up now!

Want in on the league?? E-mail your inquiries to John Bodnar at jbod15@hotmail.com and come practice against some legit competition.
