Penncrest wins 2014 title at Brandywine Classic

Penncrest won the 2014 division crown Saturday in the Brandywine Classic at Brandywine Polo Fields.

After going 3-1 in pool play, Penncrest avenged an earlier loss by downing the 4-0 Duke’s Lacrosse Club 2016 team, 10-5 in the title game.

Goals were scored by Will Manganiello, Billy Kinnard, Dylan Protesto, Dan Bullitt, Ethan Trusty, and Robert Logan. Dylan McCleaft was a standout in goal and Liam O’Donnell led the defense.

The squad was coach by Scott Rumford, Chris Bryan, Chris Bonnet, and player-coach Casey Brown.

The Penncrest players included Dan Bullitt, Joe Montgomery, Billy Kinnard, Zack Kaut, Cameron Bryan, Max Fishman, Dylan McCleaft, Will Manganiello, Robert Logan, Justin Beyer, Kevin Delaney, Tom Crowding, Ethan Trusty, Casey Brown, Liam O’Donnell, Dylan Protesto, Colin Speer, Ryan Schultz, Zach Granger, Ryan Granger, and Alex Bonnett.
