Shannon Moore

High School: West Chester East High School

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Penn State University

Club Affiliation: PA Express 2016-Orange

Major lacrosse honors: Varsity starter since Freshman year; 2013 Philly National Tournament Team; 2013 Under Armour All-American Showcase

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose PSU? “Penn State has everything I am looking for in a school. Not only do they provide an outstanding education but they have an amazing lacrosse program as well. I went to their camp this past summer and fell in love with the campus and the team. The coaching staff is incredible and the team has really made me feel like part of their family. The school spirit and large school atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for and I feel it is a perfect fit for me. Penn State is where I have always wanted to go to school and play lacrosse. I could not imagine myself anywhere else and I am looking forward to becoming part of the Penn State family.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We lost 9 seniors this past season so we are a young and developing team, but with a strong group of returning starters and talented underclassmen we should be able to come out strong.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my High School coach Marie Pepper, along with my PA Express coaches Kelee O’Malley and Joanne Tabor for helping me improve as a player and for all of their help throughout the entire recruiting process. I would also like to give a big thanks to my parents for all their love and support and to both of my brothers for always pushing me to be my best.”
