What will you major in/study? Environmental Sciences and Spanish
Why did you choose the school? “From a lacrosse standpoint, I chose Hamilton because of its awesome lacrosse staff and team unity yet willingness to continue to push each member of the team to their full potential. I think Hamilton offers a huge opportunity, as a newly inducted member of NESCAC, to rise to the challenge of some of the best Division III schools in the country and win. From an academic standpoint, I chose Hamilton because it seemed like a great school to develop great relations with teachers and delve deeply into whatever area I choose to study.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “This past season, it was really our team’s chance to start anew. We graduated seven starting seniors the previous year and got a new coaching staff. However, it was a good type of new. Everyone worked very hard and though we started out a little unsure, we came together and defined ourselves at the end of the season. Next year will be a year for growth, in my opinion. We have Juniors and Sophomores as well as Seniors who have experience and have gotten better over the summer, plus a plethora of new Freshmen to add to the mix. I’m really excited (as I think the team is as well) for this season!”
Other comments (people to thank): “Definitely all my coaches- my high school coaches, club coaches, and all the college coaches for taking their time to look at all us hopeful recruits. Also, I’d like to thank the Ultimate club founder/director Michele DeJuliis, who got me started in the process. Of course, I couldn’t have gotten where I am without awesome teammates, whether on my school team or on my club team or just meeting at showcases. And finally, my parents for literally driving me up and down the East Coast so many times they’ve probably memorized most of New York state. Thank you.”
