Longstreth girls’ recruit: Clearview Regional rising junior MF-ATT Bowe commits to North Carolina

Clearview Regional (N.J.) rising junior midfield-attack Gianna Bowe has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of North Carolina.

Club affiliation: South Jersey Select

Major lacrosse honors: First Team all conference, Honorable Mention All South Jersey (freshman year), First Team All Conference, First Team All South Jersey (sophomore year),

Why did you choose school? “It’s been my dream school ever since I could imagine and I am so excited to be competing with some of the best girls in the nation.”

Outlook for your high school team: “Our outlook is going to be the same outlook we have every year, ‘never give up, never give in, together we fight, together we win.’ Each year our program gets better and better and it’s from all of the hard work from the coaches and players competing their hardest each day.”

Other comments: “I want to thank my family for being so patient and supportive throughout the whole recruiting process; and my mom and dad for driving me from camps, practices, schools, games, and different visits. I couldn’t have done it without them. I also want to thank my high school coach, Megan Conklin, for helping me make my decision and being so supportive.”
