The Lehigh Valley lacrosse team won the Gold medal in the high school division of the Pennsylvania State Keystone Games last weekend at Penn State University.
The team, comprised of players from many of the Lehigh Valley High Schools, won eight consecutive games over two days to finish the tournament undefeated. Lehigh Valley defeated the defending champs, Delaware County, 8-4 in the semi-finals, and York by an 8-6 score in the finals. Coach Dan Dolphin,Coach Mark Smith, Coach Tom Reinert.
The team featured Necoda Nealon (Nazareth), Joe Dionne (Easton), Jaryd Hartzell (Nazareth), Jake Billera (Parkland), Alex Arhontoulis (Perkiomen Prep), Ryan Beville (Central Catholic), Dante Cavallucci (Parkland), Jack Arevalo (Central Catholic), Josh Pope (Parkland), Steven Chenworth (Parkland), Sean Kowalski (Saucon Valley), Drew Gugliazza (Freedom), Rob Fidati (Central Catholic), Matt Smith (Parkland), Jameal Hadeed (Parkland), Kyle Walsh (Easton), Brandon Winslow (Nazareth), Paul Hunsberger (Central Catholic), Jack Glemser (Central Catholic), Matt Tuerk (Nazareth), Tim Miller (Central Catholic), Paul Houck (Central Catholic) and David Sickler (Hershey)
