The Kennett boys’ varsity and JV players led shooting, dodging, groundball, and defense stations at the First Annual Toys for Tots clinic today at Legacy Field.
Kennett’s boys’ lacrosse team, with much community support, will bring over 70 toys to needy children after its Toys for Tots youth clinic
Around 30 boys from U-9 to U15 participated in the free clinic; each person that played and coached donated a toy. The Kennett players will bring over 70 new toys to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for the holiday season.
It was great to see how much support we got from the youth coaches, parents and the community,” said Kennett coach Sean Tischler. “And most important, it was great to see over 35 of our players and coaches came to volunteer time for the cause.”
