Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg) senior attackman Nick Suknaic has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Gwynedd Mercy College.
Nick Suknaic log:
High school: Bishop McDevitt High School, Harrisburg, Pa.
Graduation year: 2014
Position: Attack
College choice: Gwynedd-Mercy University
Club affiliation: Central Pa Dawgs
Major lacrosse honors: Three year varsity starter and Martinsville Summer Madness All-Star
What will you major in/study: Sports Management
Why did you choose school: “I chose Gwynedd-Mercy because I knew that it was a great school that I could excel both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. I also liked that the team was very close with each other and when I went for my visit they treated me as if I was already on the team. I also liked it because I know that coach (Dana) Lindstrom will help me unleash my full potential.”
Outlook for your high school team: “I am really looking forward to this year because we have a good group of guys returning. We will have a high power offense and a strong defense. Overall, I am very excited for this season.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my Bishop McDevitt coach, Nate Walter, and my Club coach, Chris Newman, for everything they have taught me. I would also like to thank them for helping me through my exciting recruiting process. I also owe a big thanks to my parents for putting up with all the practices and games they had to attend.”
