Clinics

Greg Cattrano Lacrosse Goalie Clinic for boys and girls, Sunday, Jan. 15 at Shipley School’s Gymnasium from noon-4 p.m. The indoor clinic is presented by Shipley Athletics and the Boys’ Lacrosse program. Weather permitting, some of the clinic also will be held outdoors on the new Shipley turf fields at Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr. Each participant will receive an unstrung Warrior Head, an $80.00 retail value.

Crossefire Lacrosse preseason clinics for conditioning, skill development and game instruction for female lacrosse players of all ability levels in grades 4 through 12.
At each clinic, participants are guided through an intense workout of strategy and skill instruction. Coached, small-sided round robin games allow for practice and implementation of emphasized skills and techniques. While instruction is the primary focus of the clinics, they are also the venue by which players are identified for invitation into the Phantastix Lacrosse Club.

Suburban Lacrosse spring clinics, at Lansdale Catholic High School, for girls in Grades 4-through-9. The clinic will focus on proper techniques for shooting, passing, catching and cradling. It will also include instruction in one on one shooting, agility training, cutting, defensive footwork and positioning, 8-meter shots, and drills to work on alone. Also included will be specialized goalie sessions, advanced and basic stick skills and small sided games. The clinic will teach fundamentals and develop new techniques to enhance the skills necessary for success in lacrosse. Participation is open to all skill levels and players. The clinic will be directed and coached by Jami Wilus Behm, former US Lacrosse Team Member, La Salle University and North Penn Hall of Fame athlete and Mike Wilus, 4 year letter winner at the University of Massachusetts and 2011 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior Scholar Athlete as well as current and former Division I players.

Cost: Package Deal: 3 two hour clinics =$135.00 for all 3 or $50.00 dollars for each individual clinic

Inaugural Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament for girls Saturday June 30, Sunday July 1, 2012 at The Westtown School in West Chester, PA. Run by the Pattison Sports Group and NXTsports, the Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament will host high school and girls’ youth lacrosse teams from across the country. The tournament will consist of six girls’ divisions, three high school divisions and three youth divisions. Each team is guaranteed five games throughout the weekend and teams playing for divisional Summer Slam titles will play to a Championship.

Girls’ Youth Divisions will start Saturday morning with the High School Showcase beginning Saturday afternoon. Both divisions will conclude with championship play on Sunday.

Goalie training by Stephanie Ellis for all levels and ages. Ellis was an All-American at Radnor High School and a Regional All-American at Penn State.
