Twenty-two boys’ lacrosse teams in four age classes competed recently in the inaugural Relentless Indoor Winter Classic tournament at United Sports in Downingtown.

The tourney featured a 5v5 format with four field players and one goalie. Long poles were allowed. A percentage of the proceeds goes to the HEADstrong Foundation and its fight against blood cancer.
“This was our first Relentless Indoor Winter Classic with United Sports,” said HEADstrong coach and Relentless co-director Michael Colleluori. “The Classic was a successful tournament and we are extremely pleased with all the participants for their sportsmanship and Relentless effort that was displayed the entire day.
“It is our goal to raise the level of lacrosse and provide opportunities for players and coaches to improve their programs.”
