Tim Browne and Anthony Marini each scored twice and A.J. Simon made 13 saves as St. Joseph’s Prep opened its season Tuesday night with an 8-5 victory over Penn Charter.
Shane Carr had three goals and Jackson Tamasitis made 12 saves for the Quakers (1-4).
Archbishop Wood 7, New Hope-Solebury 6
Chris Rahill collected four goals and had the game-winner as the Vikings defeated the Lions.
Strath Haven 9, Harriton 8
Bryan Mizell tied the game with 55 seconds to play off a feed from Tucker Carney and then Mitch Cross scored the game winner with 9 seconds left as the Panthers earned a stunning victory over upset-minded Harriton in the Central League.
Greg Dagit scored three goals for Harriton.

Harriton 12, Strath Haven 11
Caleigh Foust scored five goals, including the 100th of her career as the Rams edged the Panthers in the Central League.
Morgan Glassford had four goals, while Lexi Mazur and Kiersten Wilhelmsen each scored twice for the Panthers.
Academy Park 11, Del-Val Friends 6
Tanisha Joseph had five goals to lead Academy Park to its first varsity win since bringing back the program to the JV level two years ago.
Gabby Lee and Rosemarie Reitman each scored twice for AP.
