Jack Glassey fed Patrick McDonald for the game-winner in the second overtime tonight as host Henderson gained a thrilling 7-6 Ches-Mont League boys’ lacrosse victory over Bishop Shanahan.

Sebastian Kerslake scored three goals for the Warriors (10-1, 4-1) and Owen Evans (two goals, one assist) tied the game with less than three minutes to play.
Strong defensive play was turned in by Adam Weaver, Chris Mitten, Steve Warburton, and Nick DeAgostine for Henderson. Outstanding middie play was turned in by Spencer Rymiszewski, Jake Richard, Tyler Thompson, Conner Sidebottom and McDonald.
Chase Heisman – son of Shanahan coach Jon Heisman – had 12 saves, three in overtime. Freshman Eric Beren also made three saves when forced to fill in for Heisman due to a penalty.
John Mehok scored twice and had one assist while Anthony Wagner had an amazing effort with 21 saves for Shanahan (7-2, 3-2)
Malvern Prep 5, Germantown Academy 4
PJ Finley went 10 for 12 on face-offs and Joe Dunn scored on a man-up opportunity at 3:14 left in the fourth quarter to put MP ahead 4-3 in the Inter-Ac League win.
Tom O’Connor had two goals and an assist for the Friars.
For GA, goalie Jake Adoni was a standout with 18 saves and Reid Weber scored twice while Billy Oppenheimer had a goal and two assists.
Avon Grove 9, Great Valley 8
The Devils erupted for six goals in the final period and toppled Great Valley in dramatic style to improve to 4-0 in the Ches-Mont and 7-2 overall.
Tanner Peck (two goals) tied the game with 50 seconds to play and Tyler Ross scored off a Ryan Cook feed with one second to win it.
Kyle Smith had three goals and an assist and Will Schreiner made 13 saves for Avon Grove.
