Conestoga continues to win the big game. The No. 1 Pioneers got a goal by Bradlee Lord with four seconds to play in beating Malvern Prep, 6-5, on Saturday.
Haverford School kept pace with a 13-6 triumph over St. Joseph’s Prep.

1, Conestoga (4-0) – The Pioneers, coming off the exciting 6-5 win over Malvern Prep, travel to Baltimore today to play at Boys’ Latin in the Kudda,com Game of the Week (tape delay telecast to be accessed on Phillylacrosse.com). Prev: No. 1
2, Haverford School (4-1) – The Fords bounced back nicely for the win over St. Joseph’s Prep. They open up Inter-Ac league play today at Penn Charter. Prev: No. 2
3, La Salle (3-0) – The Explorers looked impressive in a 7-5 triumph over Episcopal Academy Friday. They get their biggest test yet today at MIAA power Gilman School. Prev: No. 4
4, Lawrenceville School (3-0) – The Big Red play at Peddie Wednesday and host Princeton High Thursday. Prev: No. 3
5, Episcopal Academy (5-1) – The Churchmen suffered their first loss Friday at La Salle. They open Inter-Ac League play Tuesday at Germantown Academy and play at St. Joseph’s Prep Thursday at Cabrini College (3:30 p.m.). Prev: No. 5.
6, Central Bucks East (4-0) – The Patriots earned a key 9-7 win over Hatboro-Horsham in the Suburban One Continental Conference. They play at Pennridge today. Prev: No. 8
7, Garnet Valley (5-0) – The Jaguars outscored their three foes, 47-8 last week. They are off this week. Prev: No. 10
8. Downingtown West (4-0) – The Whippets have not been tested yet in beating some solid teams (Abington, Allentown Central Catholic). They face a major test in the Ches-Mont today at Henderson. Prev: NR
9, Malvern Prep (1-3) – The Friars are about the best 1-3 team you’ll find. They had every chance to beat Conestoga Saturday thanks to staunch defense and goaltending. They host Chestnut Hill today. Prev: No. 7
10, Salesianum School (3-1) – The Sals scored a nice 11-6 victory over Worcester Prep (md.). They are off this week. Prev: No. 9
