And the coach says: “I can deal with the expectations just because I can deal with the fact that if we give everything our results are going to be pretty good. I like being here and I like being around parents of kids that want to win and they’re serious about it. Regarding what happened last season, I think there’s a feeling that they let it (a District XI title) slip away, but there’s also a feeling this year that things are going to be different and we’re going to take things into our own hands and dictate pace of play, how we do things, how we hold ourselves accountable and how we act as a team and that’s probably the biggest goal I have more than wins or losses. I just want to play as a group with 20 to 25 guys that we can put in our rotation.”

We are all hoping to get over the hump and make it to the district playoffs this year. And then from there, we’ll see. Starting off with Ridley on Friday should
be a great test.”
