Dawson tallied a season-high nine assists and added a goal and in Sunday’s 14-13 victory over the Buffalo Bandits, including an assist on Drew Westervelt’s game-clinching goal late in the fourth quarter. Dawson currently leads the NLL in assists with 27, averaging more than five assists per contest.

Merrill set a season high with five points on Sunday, scoring a hat trick and adding two assists, while also leading the Wings with 10 loose balls recovered. Merrill is currently ranked third in the NLL with 50 loose balls recovered on the season.

Merrill and Dawson will both represent the East Division at the NLL All-Star Game February 25 in Buffalo. Merrill was voted in as a starter on the team and Dawson was named an East reserve last week.

The Wings return to action in a road matchup versus the Toronto Rock Saturday at 7 p.m. The team will return home to Wells Fargo Center against the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday March 3 at 7 p.m.
