Wyoming Seminary senior defender Kristopher “Kit” Gildein has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Beloit College (WI).

College choice: Beloit College, Wisc
What will you major in/study? Biology/Pre-Vet
Major lacrosse honors: Captain, 4 year varsity starter, Keystone Games 2010, Philly Showcase 2011
Academic honors: AP Scholar, Dean’s List High Honors, Dean’s List, Cum Laude Society
Why did you choose Beloit? “I chose Beloit because it is a highly competitive small liberal arts school with a high percentage of the students attending graduate school. Beloit also has a new enthusiastic lacrosse program.”
Other info: Gildein is the first Pennsylvania recruit for Beloit coach Bob Dignazio, a Strath Haven grad. The team begins intercollegiate play in 2013.
What is your outlook for the lacrosse season? “Wyoming Seminary has a very young but promising team.”
Additional comments: “I would like to thank my first lacrosse coach Rev. Charles Carrick. And also my brother Ryan for leaving behind his D-pole when he moved out.”
