Downingtown West senior defender Max Carroll has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Roanoke.

Major lacrosse honors: 2011 Downingtown West Hoover Defensive Award, 2011 Second Team All Ches-Mont, 2010 Team Adidas All-American
What will you major in/study: Business
Why did you choose Roanoke? “Once I got on campus I knew that’s where I wanted to go. I really liked what the school had to offer academically as well as their great lacrosse program. Having the opportunity to play under Coach(Bill)Pilat is something that I cannot wait to do.”
What is your outlook for your high school team? “We are returning a lot of guys from last year so we hope to go even further this year. We all enjoy playing the game so we hope that we can get the most out of it in our final season together.”
Additional comments: “I am just really thankful to my parents for the support they have shown on and off the field. I also want to thank all the coaches at Downingtown West as well as the Dukes Lacrosse coaches. I am also really excited to play with my brother who has also committed to Roanoke. It should be a lot of fun.”
