Maple Zone boys’ recruit: La Salle senior attackman Schaal commits to Boston University

La Salle senior attackman Adam Schaal has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Boston University.

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Attack

College Choice: Boston University

Club Affiliation: Twist Black

Major lacrosse honors: 2011 Philly Showcase Gait Fab 40 All-Star, Member of 2012 PIAA State Finalist Team, All-Catholic Honors, Brine Shootout Champs.

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Boston U? “I really liked the feel of the campus at BU, and it has an amazing business program. I think it is a great opportunity to be able to be part of BU’s first season.”

Outlook for your HS team next season? “We are looking forward to a strong season with a lot of of returning seniors and talented underclassmen. Our plan is to return to Hershey and bring home the State Championship.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my parents for all of their support, as well as my La Salle coaches Bill Leahy, Tony Resch, Brian Harrington, Mike Coons, and Rob Forster. I would also like to thank John Christmas and my Twist Coaches, Jack Devlin, Joe Serio and Greg Flego.”
