Exeter senior midfielder Derek Stump has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Albright College.

What will you major in/study? Business Administration
Why did you choose the school? “After my overnight visit I knew Albright was the right place for me. Coach (Jake) Plunket is an excellent coach and has been great during the recruiting process, I love the campus and I believe it is the perfect fit for me both academically and athletically.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “I have high expectations for this upcoming season. I expect us to win the county championship, compete for a district title, and ultimately make states. We return the majority of our starters and I believe we can have the best year that the program has ever had.”
Thank yous: “I’d like to first thank my parents for all of their support and for driving me all over the place to my tournaments. I would also like to thank my HEADstrong coaches (Brian) Neary, (Steve) Layne, and (Ed) DiDonato. Also, I would like to thank my Twist coaches (Jack) Devlin, (Greg) Flego, and (Joe) Serio. All of these coaches have really helped me in different ways these past two summers and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me. Lastly, I would like to thank my grandparents and the rest of my family for all of the support they have shown over the years.”
