The Great Valley boys’ lacrosse team participated in its second annual holiday charity event on Tuesday as it chose to support Paoli Presbyterian Church’s local outreach program, WINTER WONDERS.
The players and families donated over $600 to help fulfill the wishes of 13-to 18-year-old boys just like them. They took Exton Mall by storm and purchased some great gifts for boys whose families have fallen on tough times.
Following the shopping spree, the team met back at the high school for a pizza party hosted by the booster club.
According to sophomore midfielder Connor Middleton, “We had a great afternoon for a great cause. Our team loves the idea of helping local families in some small way during the holidays.”
