From Press Release

3d Lacrosse, LLC and For the Love of the Game announced the success of the inaugural fall individual recruiting event, the FLG in 3D Fall Showcase. The FLG in 3D Fall Showcase was an elite invitational event held on Thursday and Friday November 8th and 9th at the Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, Maryland.

Nearly 200 players from 20 different states and Canadian provinces were given the opportunity to train with FLG and 3d Lacrosse master coaches before competing in three – 50 minute games. Over 50 colleges were in attendance, and the intimate setting and game format allowed ample opportunity for athletes to show their abilities to recruiters. The level of play was outstanding, and college coaches were able to get a good look at top players from the graduating classes of 2014, 2015, and 2016.

In honor of former Boston College lacrosse player and September 11, 2001 hero Welles Crowther, the Man in the Red Bandana, a red #19 jersey was given out to a select player from each team who demonstrated heart, character, and integrity.

Also, three Philly players – Haverford School freshman attackman Forry Smith, Allentown Central Catholic junior defenseman Tim Miller and Parkland sophomore defenseman Blaise Fugazzotto excelled.
