The Episcopal Academy boys’ lacrosse team traveled a long distance to play its first game of the 2012 season – but it was well worth the trip.
Tyler Odell scored four goals and Jon Garino netted a pair while dominating at the face-off X (14 of 18) as the Churchmen defeated Bullis School (Md.) at Washington College in Chestertown, Md.
Connor Haab had a goal and four assists while Morgan Westby contributed a goal and two assists. Garrett Walling, Tyler Haab and Trup Ortlieb each scored once while Henry Coote (5 saves) and Tyler Morrell (4 saves) shared the win.
Kevin Gayhardt, Billy McAvoy, Shane Malenfont, Connor McCann and Matt Robinson led the EA defense.
