Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) senior attackman Brady Wulster has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Boston University.
Brady Wulster log:
High School: Don Bosco Prep (NJ)
Graduation year: 2013
Position: Attack
College choice: Boston University
Club affiliation(s): Tri-State Black, NJ Empire Elite
Major lacrosse honors: 2nd team All-County, 2nd team All-North Jersey; Maverik Showtime, Champ Camp, Tri-State National, MVP Rider (all-star game)
Academic honors: Honor Roll, 2012 NHS candidate
What will you major in/study? Accounting/Business
Why did you choose BU? “I chose BU because it’s a great opportunity to be a part of a brand-new Division I program, and believe that Coach (Ryan) Polley can build a winning program pretty quickly. We already have some great recruits. Also, playing in the Patriot League is special, being able to play great lacrosse and receive a great education. It doesn’t get much better academically than BU. And Boston is a pretty cool city.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We are returning a lot of talent this season including 11 seniors already committed to playing lacrosse in College. We’ve all had the same goal since Freshman year – to win a State Championship. We fell a goal short in overtime last year but are going to come back extremely focused this year. We also have some really talented underclassmen ready to step up. If we continue to work hard I think we’re going to be very, very good.”
Other schools considered: Monmouth, Hartford, Manhattan College, Sacred Heart
