Avon Grove rising junior goalie Will Schreiner has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Penn State University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Penn State? “I love the campus and I had a really good connection with the coaches. I am excited about the incoming classes coming the next few years. Also, it has a great tradition of goalies and I like how they are building the program.”
Outlook for 2013 HS season: “We are returning some really key players. We have a great chance to win the Ches-Mont and to go far in the state playoffs.”
Other schools considered: Villanova, Hofstra, Fairfield, Georgetown
Other comments: “I want to thank all the Dukes L.C. coaches, coach Ebe (Helm), coach (Jason) Christmas, (Mike) Mackrides and (Joe) Vetrone.
