Holy Ghost Prep senior midfielder-attackman John Motto has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Cabrini College.

What will you major in/study? Business/Sports Management
Why did you choose Cabrini? “Cabrini has had a lot of success over the years and continues to grow as a top program. Coach (Steve) Colfer has a great reputation in the lacrosse community and I feel I can learn a lot from him and the coaching staff. The location of the school is not too far from home and I am able to take up the major I want. After meeting the team and getting a feel for the campus on my overnight I knew it was the right environment for me.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We have a ton of returning starters from last year and have a strong senior core. Our goal is to win our league and improve on our record against our non-league opponents from last year. We have the talent and experience to achieve all of our goals set out for this season and make a run in the District Playoffs.”
Additional comments: “I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to play lacrosse and the sacrifices they’ve made so I could excel each year. I would like to thank the Twist coaches, Coach (John) Lavin, Coach (Greg) Flego and Coach (Jack) Devlin for there help over the summer. Also thanks to Coach (Tony) Omrod for all of his help and support over the past four years at Ghost.”
