Unionville senior midfielder Kelly Close has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Lock Haven University.

What will you major in/study? Plans on majoring in Health Sciences
Why did you choose school? “I chose Lock Haven University because everything just felt right. I love the campus, the coaching staff and especially the girls. I met the coach earlier this year when she took me on a tour, and I instantly fell in love with the school and knew if I had the chance this is where I would come. It also has the perfect programs for my major.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “ I am very excited for this 2010 season. Last year we had lost 10 starting seniors, it was a rebuilding year. We had a young but talented team. With almost the whole varsity roster returning I cannot wait to show everyone what we are capable of achieving.”
