Emily Corcoran had three goals and two assists while Madison Connor added two goals and two assists to help Merion Mercy edge Mount St. Joseph today in a key Athletic Association of Catholic Academies lacrosse game.
The Bears improved to 3-1 overall and 3-1 in the league. The Mount is 1-1 in the league and 1-3 overall.
Julianne D’Orazio also had two goals and an assist for Merion, which led 6-0 at halftime and was leading 8-4 until allowing three late goals. Stevie Wells led the Mount with three goals and an assist.
Notre Dame 15, Germantown Friends 11
Kristen Bandos had five goals, three assists and five draw controls to pace the Irish (3-0) to the non-league win. Carlianne McCabe added four goals, four draw controls and two groundballs.
Iris Williamson led GFS with four goals and Lyles Swift Farley added three goals and an assist.
Hatboro-Horsham 15, Abington 6
Cortnnee Daley had four goals and two assists and Nicole Beck added four goals and an assist to lead the Hatters to the non-league win.
Hatboro-Horsham (5-0) gears for a key league game at North Penn Friday.
Carli Fitzgerald and Meredith Cox each scored two goals for the Ghosts.
Upper Dublin 14, Norristown 0
Brooke Callahan and Kelly Cross each had three goals and two assists to lead the Cards to the Suburban One American Conference shutout.
