Recruiting Tournaments
The 2011 F4 Showbine, Nov. 12-13 at Flemington, NJ. This year the event will offer 2 sessions. This is a high-end limited team tournament that will attract many college coaches. Players are tested in athletic skills and also play in tournament games. For more information or to register, click here.
Philly Boys Showcase is FULL but wait list registration is open. The showcase is scheduled for Nov. 19th and 20th, Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square, PA.
The Philly Boys Showcase attracts over 100 college programs, and last year was attended by 67% of all Division I programs and 88% of the 2011 NCAA Tournament field. Additional detailed event information is available at http://showcaselacrosse.com/phillyboys/

Rising Sophomores (2014s) and Juniors (2013s) will compete on Saturday the 19th; uncommitted Rising Seniors will be showcased on Sunday the 20th.
Club tryouts
Main Line Lacrosse Club will hold open tryouts for its Inaugural Year Sunday, September 18th at Villanova Stadium, Villanova Pa. This first-year club lacrosse program based out of Villanova University and run by Villanova Men’s Lacrosse coaches Simon Connor, Joe Canuso and Andrew German is year-round and dedicated to the individual development of each of its members and aims to provide expert instruction in four areas: position related skills, fitness, lacrosse IQ and recruiting for high school players. Most importantly, the coaching staff will provide athletes with a fun and competitive lacrosse environment focused on learning and personal development.
Practices will be held inside the 12,000 seat Villanova Stadium, home of the Villanova Men’s Lacrosse team, as well as Pike Field across from the stadium on Lancaster Avenue. The winter program will be held in BucksMont Indoor Sports Center in Hatfield, Pa.
*2014 & 2015’s (9th and 10th grade): 8:00am-9:30am, Villanova Stadium
*U-13’s (8th grade): 9:30am-11:00am, Villanova Stadium

Chesco Black Bear club tryouts for its 2012 summer travel teams will be held Saturday, September 24 on the turf at USTC in Downingtown from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
U11 through U15: Check-in will begin at 8am and try outs will be from 9-11am.

Twist Lacrosse will hold its 2011-12 tryouts for 2013, 2014 and 2015 boys’ teams on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Cabrini College in Radnor Township. All new and returning players must attend. These tryouts will be for the upcoming fall schedule as well as the 2012 summer tournament season.
*9th (2015): Registration begins at 5 p.m., and tryout session begins at 6 p.m.
*10th/11th (2014 & 2013): Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., tryouts begin at 7:30 p.m.
The cost is $25 for online registration and $50 for all walk-ups.
LB3 North will hold annual tryouts (for teams competing in fall 2011 and summer 2012) as follows: Sunday, Sept. 25, Sunday, Oct. 2 and Sunday, Oct 9 at the Victory Turf Field, adjacent to Plymouth Whitemarsh HS in Lafayette Hill, PA. Tryouts will take place from 2:00/7:30pm on each day – players will be assigned tryout time slots based on graduation year and advised at a later date.
Players will be selected for 2013, 2014 and 2015 (graduation year) teams as well as U15, U13 and HS Select squads. Players selected for the top teams will be expected to commit to the LB3 summer 2012 schedule of the most prominent recruiting events in the country (tentative schedule includes):

Baggataway lacrosse club for middle school boys has opened online registration beginning August 31st.for tryouts, Saturday, October 8th 2011,Victory Field at Plymouth Whitemarsh HS. The new club team will field, U11, U13, & U15 age bracket teams that will participate in highly competitive summer lacrosse tournaments, June and July 2012.
Evaluations will be under the direction of Brian ‘Doc’ Dougherty and Adam Eddinger, Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach, Chestnut Hill College Lacrosse. There is no fee to try out. Full equipment including mouthpiece and cleats required.

Skill Sessions at United Sports; Sundays starting September 11. Six 1-hour sessions, the perfect amount of time to sharpen the essential skills needed to be a competitive lacrosse player. Ricky Whelan Dukes Developmental Program, Sept. 11-Oct. 16, six Sundays, 4-6 p.m., tentatively at Harriton High. This is an instructional series that leads to the tryouts for the Duke’s Lacrosse Club. Walkup registration will start at 3:30 p.m. The Dukes tryouts are tentatively slated for Oct. 23 at Haverford College. This program is for intermediate to advanced high school players. Advanced 8th grade or 7th graders may attend but must contact Coach Jason Christmas with playing experience to authorize participation. The clinics will be emphasizing high intensity drills and skill sets to improve players’ reaction time and decision making in unsettled/settled transition situations. Up tempo pace will be encouraged defensively and offensively from 1v1 situations to 2v1 all the way up to 6v6 settled sets.
To receive a discount ($60), it is encouraged to preregister for the clinics and avoid massive walkup lines at walkup registration. Lacrosse players get better by playing in game situations and learning key components to excel. Whether it is playing game after game or being individually coached with demonstrations and instruction, each player will be taught the skills necessary for success.
Each two hour session will include include 1 hour of positional instruction (attack, defense, midfield, goalie) and 1 hour of games; designed to improve technique, and game skills. Sessions will include but are not limited to: dodging, shooting, feeding, checks, defensive positioning, slides, and stick skills. There will also be special sessions for goalies and face-off men. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to take your game to the next level.

Following evaluation you will be notified of what session to attend. Sessions will be broken down by skill level. Dates are Dec, 4, 11, 18, Jan. 8,15,22,29, Feb. 5,12.
