Lenape Premier will be holding tryouts for their club team for girls graduating in 2012 and 2013 on Saturday, April 9th from 4-6 pm at Garnet Valley High School. There is a $10 cash tryout fee. Girls must preregister on the website at www.lenapepremier.com

Tournaments
The Summer Slam Lacrosse Tournament for girls will be held on June 4-5, 2011 at the GCVSA Line Road Field Complex. The Tournament will consist of nine divisions U9, U11, U13A&B, U15A&B, High School AA, High School A, and High School B. Each girls’ team is guaranteed four games over two days and teams playing for Summer Slam Titles will play additional games Sunday. United Sports-a-Palooza, June 25. United Sports is launching its First annual United Sports-a-Palooza, an Adult Multi-Sports festival featuring Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse. The tournament will be held on June 25, 2011 at United Sports in Downingtown, PA. After games on Saturday, teams will join together for a BBQ Festival. This celebration will include live music, food and beverage, tailgating games, indoor activities for kids, non-profit organizations, and beer/wine garden. A portion of the proceeds will go towards various local charities.
Women’s Lacrosse: Team Fee — $700; 7 v 7 (All teams must have a goalie); Guaranteed FOUR 25 min games. Portion of proceeds will be donated to the Caroline Cranston Memorial/Scholarship Fund. Camps
Quaker City Summer Lacrosse Skills Camp, June 20-23, Girls in grades 3 through 9, at Harriton High, 9 a.m.-noon, with Harriton High School Girls Lacrosse Coaches George Dick and Laura King. This Instructional Clinic will stress the development of the basic fundamentals: cradling, catching/throwing, groundballs, dodging and shooting. Older players will focus on 1v1 Defense and Team Defense, Offensive Tactics/Playing under Pressure and Transition Offense and Defense. All will participate in Camp Games/Tournaments/Skills Contests. Germantown Friends Girls’ Lacrosse Camp, June 20-24, Grades 5-9, at GFS playing fields. The camp will be led by 8-year GFS Coach Katie Bergstrom, current NCAA lacrosse players and other GFS Lacrosse Coaches. Camp is open to girls of all skill levels; it’s intent is to teach all aspect of lacrosse and promote love and spirit of the game. To register, click here.
Navy girls’ camps, at the United States Naval Academy, in June and July. Navy Women’s Lacrosse Camps are designed to teach and develop the fundamental skills of the game, as well as team concepts in a fun, educational and confidence building environment. It is a chance to learn sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork. It is also a great opportunity to meet other young lacrosse players and experience different coaching techniques from some of the best coaches in the nation. The camps will be directed by Timchal and the Navy women’s lacrosse coaching staff. Timchal is the all-time wins leader in NCAA lacrosse history and has won eight national championships.

Navy Elite Gold Camp
June 23-25, 2011
Rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors
Cost: $525
This challenging camp is designed for the elite lacrosse player who aspires to play lacrosse in college. The sessions are intense, highly competitive, and emphasize high level techniques, skills and strategies. Evening sessions include full-field games. Goalie instruction will be offered. Camp also includes a College Recruiting Question and Answer session.
Navy Open Blue Camp
July 5-7, 2011
Rising seventh-, eighth- and ninth-graders
Cost: $495
This camp is designed for players of all ability levels. There is a strong emphasis on mastering skills as well as moving on to more advanced parts of the game. Sessions will focus on individual skills, team concepts and full field play. Campers will be divided by age and skill level in order to provide the appropriate learning environment. Goalie instruction will be offered.

Navy Lacrosse Camps allow the athlete to experience the university setting in beautiful Annapolis, MD. After we receive your registration information you will receive a confirmation packet with parking information.
Lodging: Overnight campers stay in the largest dormitory in the United States – Bancroft Hall – which is AIR CONDITIONED! Campers will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in King Hall, which hosts all 4,400 Midshipmen at once.
Facilities: For the Open and Elite camp, we will be using our turf facility and grass fields located at Farragut Field off of Brownson Rd. on the Academy grounds. For Youth Day Camps, we will be using Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 511 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD 21401.

Raider Lacrosse Camp (Field Players and Goalies) at Radnor High School from 9am-noon, July 11-15 and July 18-22 for girls going into grades 4 to 9. The cost is $125 per week. The camp will be a fun and easy way to improve your game by learning from some of Philly’s top lacrosse players. We will teach you the important skills needed to succeed at the next level. The Philly Showcase Camp, overnight showcase and instructional camp, for girls in Classes 2013 and 2014, at Albright College in Reading, July 19-21.
Sponsored by Showcase Lacrosse, the Showcase Camp will be directed by Karin Brower Corbett, the women’s’ lacrosse coach at the nationally-ranked power University of Pennsylvania. On the field, the girls will be divided into rosters, with each roster overseen by a prominent college coach, and will play a series of games interspersed between detailed instructional sessions. Additionally, all games at the Showcase Camp will be professionally filmed, catalogued and indexed by Showcase video partner Krossover Intelligence.
Compliments of Krossover, every player will receive a free customized video index of all plays from Showcase Camp games in which she featured. With a few clicks this video clip index can be turned into a free highlight film and shared with college coaches.
