Trashcan Lacrosse is holding a Preseason Mini-Camp at Episcopal Academy over three Sundays (Feb. 6, 13, 20) for boys (U11, U13) and girls (youth and high school).
Players will be divided into groups by position and the coaches will focus on the position skills necessary to excel during the spring season. Each position group will have a coach
experienced at teaching basic and advanced skills at that position.
The Preseason minicamp costs $75 for three sessions. You can register online here.
The Boys Preseason Mini-Camp Schedule:
1. 3rd & 4th graders (U-11) (10am-11am)
2. 5th & 6th graders (U-13) (11am-noon)
3. 5th & 6th graders (U-13) (noon-1pm)
The Girls Preseason Mini-Camp Schedule:
1. 3rd-5th graders (1pm-2pm)
2. 6th-8th graders (2pm-3pm)
3. 9th-12th (3pm-4pm)
Girls Mini-Camp Coaching Staff:
Jenny Duckenfield – Former head coach at Strath Haven. Coach Duck has been coaching youth lacrosse for 25 years, including leagues, camps and clinics. She will be working with the defenders and d-mids.
Phyllis Kilgour – Former head coach at Radnor. Coach Kilgour is a
lacrosse legend, having won 574 games, 7 District One titles, and the first two official
Pennsylvania state titles as the Coach at Radnor before retiring in 2010. Coach Kilgour will be working with the attackers and attacking mids.
Kim Jackson – Head coach at Henderson. Coach Jackson was one of the top collegiate goalies of all time, leading Delaware to three national titles. She has been coach at W.C. Henderson since 1987. Coach Jackson will be working with the goalies.
