NXT Sports has announced the weekend schedule for the Third Annual Philly Boys Showcase – and it figures to be an event that will satisfy any boys’ lacrosse fan.
The 2011 Philly Boys Showcase will be held the weekend of November 18-20 and will feature many of the top high school lacrosse talent from the Philadelphia region and beyond the US and into Canada. The event features two days of the individual showcase and two days of tournaments involving top club and high school teams from the Philly region and beyond.
The 2011 Philly Showcase received over 1,800 player applications for spots in the event, known as one of the nation’s biggest and most attended Fall showcase. In the end, approximately 500 players from 27 States and Provinces will compete over the course of the weekend.
Said Andy Hayes, President of NXT Sports, “We are very excited for the 2011 Philly Boys Showcase. For the last six months our team has worked tirelessly to put together this group of players, which we believe represents one of the best collections of high school lacrosse talent ever assembled. Virtually every Division I program in the nation has committed to attend, and we expect well over 100 college programs overall to be there.”
The schedule of events for the 2011 Philly Boys Showcase follows.
