Lacrosse Media is pleased to announce that Phillylacrosse.com Owner and Editor Chris Goldberg will be hosting a regular radio show on high school lacrosse beginning next Thursday, November 10 on the Lacrosse Radio Network.
The show, “Lax High,” will be aired live every other Thursday, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Followers may call in or just listen at blogtalkradio.com/lacrosseradio. Shows will be recorded and archived and accessible any time at the same website.
Goldberg founded Phillylacrosse.com four years ago and runs Lacrosse Media, a company that owns several regional lacrosse sites. Named the Southeastern Pennsylvania Man of the Year by US Lacrosse this year, Goldberg will focus on high school boys’ and girls’ lacrosse and will take calls from followers on all related subjects. He will also interview guests, high school coaches and other personalities from the Philly region and beyond.
Goldberg has been reporting on high school sports in the Philadelphia region for 30 years. He was a girls’ youth lacrosse coach for 10 years and also was a PIAA girls’ umpire.
Goldberg’s show will rotate each week with another lacrosse show, “By the Book,” hosted by Booker Corrigan, a Radnor High grad. Corrigan is the lead announcer for high school sports on http://game.kudda.com/, a popular internet sports radio network based in Baltimore.
Corrigan, who played at Roanoke and coaches with the Roughriders club team in Maryland, has also coached at McDonogh School in Baltimore and Collegiate School (Va.). Corrigan also does radio work on college basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference and Colonial Athletic Association for ESPN.
Corrigan’s “By the Book” show will focus on all areas of lacrosse in the Baltimore area and beyond.
