Phillylacrosse.com, Posted 11/10/11

Beginning tonight, Phillylacrosse.com Editor Chris Goldberg will be co-hosting a regular radio show on high school lacrosse on the Lacrosse Radio Network.

The show, “Lax High,” will be aired live every other Thursday, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Followers may call in or just listen at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/lacrosseradio/2011/11/10/lax-high-01. The number to call to go on the show and chat with Goldberg and Xanders is (805) 727-7011. Shows will be recorded and archived.

Goldberg is owner of Lacrosse Media, which also runs LILacrosseNews.com, covering lacrosse news on Long Island. His co-host each week will be Inside Lacrosse contributing writer and recruiting guru Ty Xanders. Xanders, a Baltimore native, has written for Inside Lacrosse since the spring of 2009.

This week’s show will feature Haverford School boys’ lacrosse coach John Nostrant as a special guest. Nostrant’s Fords went 23-0 last year and finished atop every national poll. The show also will touch on the following topics: Last year’s top boys’ and girls’ teams in the national rankings; a look at the upcoming high school recruiting tournaments on the East Coast; a look ahead to the top five teams for boys and girls; and mention of some of the top recruits as we begin the early signing period for National Letters of Intent.

The Goldberg-Xanders show will rotate each week on the Lacrosse Radio Network with another lacrosse show, “By the Book,” hosted by Booker Corrigan, a Radnor High grad. Corrigan is the lead announcer for high school lacrosse and other sports on http://game.kudda.com/, a popular internet sports radio network based in Baltimore.

Corrigan’s “By the Book” show will focus on all areas of lacrosse in the Baltimore area and beyond.
