Showcase Lacrosse, directors of the highly-regarded Philly Boys Showcase and Philly Girls Showcase events, have announced its will hold the Philly Showcase Camp for girls.
The Philly Showcase Camp is a three-day, two-night overnight showcase and instructional camp with capacity for 216 high school girls’ lacrosse players in the classes of 2013 and 2014.
Showcase Lacrosse is especially proud to announce the Showcase Camp will be directed by Karin Brower Corbett, the women’s’ lacrosse coach at the nationally-ranked power University of Pennsylvania. Corbett has guided the Quakers to the national semifinals in three of the last four seasons.
The Philly Showcase Camp will take place at Albright College in Reading from July 19-21, 2011. The registration fee of $495 includes three days of games and instruction, as well as all meals and lodging in the Albright College dining halls and dorms.
On the field, the girls will be divided into rosters, with each roster overseen by a prominent college coach, and will play a series of games interspersed between detailed instructional sessions. Additionally, all games at the Showcase Camp will be professionally filmed, catalogued and indexed by Showcase video partner Krossover Intelligence.
Compliments of Krossover, every player will receive a free customized video index of all plays from Showcase Camp games in which she featured. With a few clicks this video clip index can be turned into a free highlight film and shared with college coaches.
