The Main Line Lacrosse Club is a first-year club lacrosse program based out of Villanova University and run by Villanova Men’s Lacrosse coaches Simon Connor, Joe Canuso and Andrew German.
This year-round program is dedicated to the individual development of each of its members and aims to provide expert instruction in four areas: position related skills, fitness, lacrosse IQ and recruiting for high school players.
Most importantly, the coaching staff will provide athletes with a fun and competitive lacrosse environment focused on learning and personal development.
The program consists of three playing seasons and one ‘off-season’ as well as year-round counseling and guidance in three areas: positional skill development, recruiting (for high school players) and speed and conditioning.
“Andy, Joe and I have been talking about doing something like this for a few years now,” said MLLC Director Connor, the Villanova Men’s Lacrosse Associate Head Coach. “The Main Line Lacrosse Club will offer a very unique experience for both our players and coaches, so we’re extremely anxious to get started.”
Practices will be held inside the 12,000 seat Villanova Stadium, home of the Villanova Men’s Lacrosse team, as well as Pike Field across from the stadium on Lancaster Avenue. Villanova University is located in Villanova, Pa., 12 miles outside of Philadelphia and situated in the heart of the Main Line.
All film work will be done in the Villanova Men’s Lacrosse locker room on Gamebreaker sports software, used nationally by NCAA collegiate teams. The winter program will be held in BucksMont Indoor Sports Center in Hatfield, Pa.
