Downingtown East senior defenseman/LSM Kyle Mann has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Widener University.

College choice: Widener
Club affiliation: Team Philadelphia Elite
Major lacrosse honors: Tri-State Senior A Division Champions, Fab Forty Team at Top Star Camp, Evolution Game Champions
What will you major in/study: Engineering
Why did you choose school: “I chose Widener because it is a great Engineering school and it is not that far from home. I also really liked the campus and I think that Coach (Brendan) Dawson will be able to take the program in the right direction.”
Outlook for your high school team: “This year we have a bunch of seniors and some really talented underclassmen and I think we will have a very good chance of winning the Ches-Mont title this year and going far in the state playoffs.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my family for helping me with this decision. I would also like to thank all the Downingtown East and Team Philly coaches for making me the player that I am.”
