The weather forecast is perfect, and the professional talent will be sizzling when the LXM PRO 610 tour hits Radnor High Sunday for the second year.
More than 4,000 people are expected to attend the event, which features a pro lacrosse game, live music, free clinics by pro players and a Fan Zone and Vendor Village – all in a carnival atmosphere.
The gates open at 2 p.m. and the action kicks off with music by rising Philly groups OCD Moosh and Twist.
Shortly before 4 p.m., the game begins on the Radnor High turf field. Philly players such as Brett Moyer (Ridley, Hofstra), Brian Kelly (Downingtown High, head coach at Whittier College, CA), Todd Fairlie (Marple Newtown, Widener), John Haldy (Haverford School, captain of UVA National championship team, 2011) and DJ Andrzejewski (Penn grad, USILA All-America, 2006) will be on Team Cascade (East)
The East attack features the likes of new addition Mikey Powell and Zack Greer.
Team STX (West) features LXM PRO co-founder Max Ritz (Radnor), Maryland) and Kyle Wimer (Hempfield High, UMBC) as well as middie P.J. Gilbert (Penn, ’06). Some other big names on offense include Kyle Harrison and two newcomers/brothers, Shamel and Rhamel Bratton.
After the game, all youth and high school lacrosse players are invited to participate in a number of free clinics being given by the pros. Pros also will available for autographs or simply to hang with.

Harrison, one of the co-founders, gave this interview with Phillylacrosse.com:
How does it feel to return to Philly after a superb tour stop in 2010?
Kyle Harrison: “We’re PUMPED! Last year, Philly was our most competitive lacrosse game, and best overall event, so we’re really excited to be back at Radnor. Our rosters are even better, and we’re proud to have Fortune Family back to perform as well OCD Mush and Twist. I can’t wait for the opening whistle on the field Sunday at 4 PM?”
Can you tell us about the free clinics and what skills will be taught by so many of the top pro players?
Kyle Harrison: “EVERY LXM PRO player is VERY passionate about giving back to the sport and growing the game. We all love being in front of kids, teaching them this great sport, and helping to spread and promote the game all of the world. The clinic portion of LXM has been a big hit at all of our stops, and we’re definitely fired up to get on the field with the kids after our game on Sunday.”
With local groups and many Philly players, you have been able to “regionalize” the tour to give it some Philly flavor. Please touch on this.
Kyle Harrison: “It’s always important to bring in guys who are from the area who have gone on to do big things in the sport. From a player like Brett Moyer, to Max Ritz, to Kyle Wimer, there are tons of guys from this area who have gone on to play D1 and now are playing professionally on the Tour, and the local community loves coming out to support their own!”
How has the LXM PRO Tour continued to fulfill its mission of spreading lacrosse in the past 14 months since the first 610 stop?
Kyle Harrison: “We’ve had a handful of great events and clinics through out the country in places like Las Vegas, Orange County (CA), Baltimore (MD) and Palm Coast (FL). We’ve added more players (Mike Powell, Zack Greer, Shamel and Rhamel Bratton, and more), and we’re VERY excited to announce our 2012 locations in the next few weeks!”
