The starting time for the Inter-Ac Invitational semifinal game between Penn Charter and Malvern Prep has been moved up from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cabrini College.
The game was moved due to a scheduling conflict with a school event. The other semifinal between Haverford School and Lawrenceville School (N.J.) will begin at 5 p.m. as planned.
Penn Charter, the No. 6 seed, advanced to the semis Wednesday by defeating third-seeded Germantown Academy, 6-5, on a goal in the final 10 seconds by Joey Sankey.
Malvern Prep, the Inter-Ac league runner-up and No. 2 seed, advanced with an easy 19-4 conquest of Shipley School.
Haverford School, the two-time defending champion, is the No. 1 seed and is 21-0. The Fords are ranked No. 1 in every national poll. Lawrenceville School, the Mid-Atlantic Prep champion, is 18-2.
The final will be held next Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Cabrini.
