Inaugural Berks County Lacrosse Coaches Clinic to be held Feb. 27 at Alvernia

The inaugural Berks County Lacrosse Coaches Clinic will be held on Sunday, Feb. 27, in the Shander Room at Alvernia University in Reading.

The event for youth and high school coaches is sponsored by the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association and also being hosted by Albright College.

The Shandler Room is located in Alvernia’s Physical Education Center.

The tentative schedule:

* At 8:30 a.m.: Continental Breakfast (courtesy of the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association)

* At 8:50: Richard Carrington , Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Alvernia University – Welcome to Alvernia

* At 9:00: Jake Plunket, Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Albright College – Face-off technique: Before, during, and after.

* At 10:00 Richard Carrington – Developing practice & game plans with limited numbers.

* At 11:00: To Be Determined

There also will be a drawing for fabulous door prizes (must be present to win).
